We’re set up to materialize a vision. That’s a fancy way of saying we’re really good at creating accurate budgets, detailed estimates, value engineering ideas and concepts that make sense for both the owner and the project site.

We are an outside of the box approach to development. Although we work well with many outstanding engineers and architects in the area, our clients can experience the full array of our abilities by choosing to work with our engineering company, Toma Engineering.

We were engineers first and contractors second, which gives us a unique ability to visualize projects differently from most contractors. If you choose to work with our engineering firm as well, you will experience our vision for a seamless collaborative process that simplifies all aspects of development for the owner and eliminates the inequities of the typical design-bid-build process.

If you already have plans for your project, we would still love to work with you on your project. We are a full-service general contractor specializing in anything from interior commercial upfits to full scale renovations to large new construction projects. Although we work great with the Toma Engineering Team, we also work just as well with the other great engineers and architects throughout our state.

We never got to enjoy the good old days of floor plans on a napkin. Building sites, building materials, and building systems and materials have become smarter, leaner, and greener than ever. That’s not to say that progress does not come with complexity. So the trick is to figure out a way to streamline all of these parts and pieces into one point of communication with a client.

In North Carolina, an Engineering Firm cannot act as a General Contracting Firm, and a General Contracting Firm cannot operate as an Engineering Firm. So, we are definitely not doing that. We just happen to be an Engineering Firm, housed in the same building a General Contracting Firm, that happens to be working on the same project in a streamlined manner. This allows the owner to have one point of contact, so things can be as easy as drawing floor plan on a napkin and building it.

We hope to revolutionize the design and construction process one project at a time.

5 Story Mixed-Use Project in the heart of NCSU Campus on Hillsborough Street. The structure consists of two levels of commercial space including a second floor open air patio that overlooks Hillsborough Street with the remaining three levels built out in a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom residential units.

517 S Blount Street is a single story masonry building located in Historic Downtown Raleigh that is being brought back to life. The completed project will include a 1900 sf rooftop patio and rear garage doors for an open air feel. This will be a great location for a bar or small restaurant.
